- 1 regular sized package Oreos
- 8 oz. cream cheese or neufchatel cheese (room temperature)
- 12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- white chocolate (for drizzling)
Place Oreos in food processor and grind to powder. In large bowl, using your hands, mix Oreo crumbs and cream cheese until fully incorporated. Chill for 30 minutes. Shape Oreo mixture into balls of desired size. Chill 30 more minutes. In medium saucepan or double boiler slowly melt chocolate until smooth. Remove from heat. Coat Oreo balls in chocolate and set on wax paper (or drying rack over wax paper). Chill until hardened. Drizzle melted white chocolate over tops if desired. Chill until ready to serve.
Note: These also work well with different flavored Oreos (eg. mint, strawberry, etc.). Experiment and enjoy!
